About the Festival

The HaverTalian Festival is a Haverford Township celebration of Italian culture and good food. We celebrate God, family, community and a love of Italy mixed with nostalgia for the old country that was home to our Italian ancestors.

The HaverTalian Festival is a completely volunteer–driven event and can only be produced by community support and financial generosity. Whether your contribution is donating your time or cash, it is a vital to the success of the HaverTalian Festival.

Is it Kid Friendly?

YES!  There will be crafts and activities for children.

Is Parking Available?

Vehicle Parking is limited.  We encourage public transportation, cycling or walking to the festival.  The St. Denis lot across from the church on St. Denis Lane is available and just a short walk to the HaverTalian Festival entrance.  There is FREE parking on the streets in the surrounding neighborhoods.  If parking on the street, please be courteous to homeowners.  Do not block driveways or park on posted streets.  Your car may be ticketed and/or towed.

Is there Bicycle Parking?

Personal wheeled vehicles such as bikes, skateboards, scooters, wagons and other wheeled items may be locked in the designated Corral prior to entering the Festival.  Wheeled items other than “push from behind” infant strollers are not permitted at the HaverTalian Festival.

What are the Restrictions?

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.  Festival attendees are not permitted to bring pets, illegal drugs, alcoholic beverages, glass containers, weapons, explosives or fireworks into the event.  All bags, backpacks and containers will be inspected at entry by private security.  Haverford Township Police will be present.  Pets, skateboards, scooters, wagons, tricycles and bicycles are not permitted.  Check all wheeled items at the Corral prior to entry.  “Push from behind” Infant strollers are permitted inside the festival area.  Unauthorized solicitation is strictly prohibited.

Will there be Beer and Wine?

The Wine/Beer garden at the HaverTalian Festival is for attendees who are 21 or older.  Beverages may be carried around inside the restricted festival area.   Proper ID will be required.  Alcoholic beverages are not permitted outside the restricted festival area.  Alcohol sales will end 30 minutes before the close of the day.  Alcoholic beverages may not be carried into the event.  All bags, backpacks and containers will be inspected at entry.

What Public Transportation is Available?

SEPTA’s Norristown High Speed Line stops at Wynnewood Road, Just 3 blocks from the HaverTalian Festival.  SEPTA buses from Ardmore and 69th Street Terminal also drop within a few blocks of the event.  For the route most convenient to you, visit www.SEPTA.org

About Kelly Music for Life

Kelly Music for Life is a 501c3 non-profit that produces music events for the benefit of community.  Our fundraising Events include Haverford Spring Fest, Havertown Irish Festival, Martini Lounge Dance, and Havertown Harvest.  Proceeds from events benefit the Kelly Center for Music, Arts and Community Located at 4 E.
